This project originated as a series of text messages where AWWMADEYOULOOK (emcee) told LUVJONEZ (producer) about how he freestyles to LUVJONEZ beats to and from work as a form of "rap therapy"

After a few shared videos from inside the car, we thought it would be fun to both record enough versions and videos for a short EPs worth of tracks. Through shared videos, raw audio and different ideas on how to document process, we aimed to turn these raw freestyles into a type of video album / documentary featuring those inspired lyrics spilling out while we drove around Brooklyn NYC in February 2022. We did a few takes filmed on our phones from inside the car and shaped it into the album you here now. You hear the sounds of the car, traffic, blinkers, and ambient noises of driving during each song, with some banter between songs too.

This project is for everyone who sings, raps, or talks to themselves on long commutes to decompress and stay inspired. All done for the love of rap and hip hop culture and connecting creative vibes for some like-minded artists paying homage to the art form.

First track is the full audio of the film. Each individual track after that are all the separate songs from the film.

All instrumentals from various LUVJONEZ albums and collabo projects are also included to round out the EP.
