When Luvjonez asked me if I wanted to make a collaborative album I was immediately on board. The world was about a month into what I’m calling “The Great Quarantine of 2020”™ and I was putting the finishing touches on my own album. I had a bunch of samples that I never got around to using for that project so this was perfect timing.

A little while later I uploaded some finished songs with the idea of sending more in the coming weeks but then came the death of George Floyd. The Summer went by and I could barely get out of bed let alone make music.

By the Fall I felt stable enough to put out another album but by the end of the year we were both working on multiple other projects so 2020 passed and we never got to show the world what we put together. Until now. Welcome to the “Summer of FreeLuv”™.
